Research, research, and more research led to interest and active support from the City of Gloucester, the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, the University of Massachusetts, the Gloucester EDIC and private individuals.
That enthusiasm led us to apply for a seed grant from MassDevelopment to explore the Innovation Ecosystem of Cape Ann. That’s fancy talk for saying “Do more research”. But this time the research would be less about the concept of coworking and more about who is doing what kind of work on Cape Ann and how and where they are doing it.
